Update on Christine's Mom, Pamela

This is an email update from Christine's mom's husband, Larry. Please pray for her mom, Pamela, and the family.

Family & Friends,We have gotten the report back from Pamela's latest MRI and they have found that the new tumors in her brain have not been eliminated by the most recent round of radiation treatment. They are too numerous for any other form of treatment. The doctors have concluded that no further curative treatment is appropriate. She will receive only comfort care from this point forward.

The last surgical procedure has taken a lot of her energy and her physical condition continues to decline. We finally got the drain tube to her right lung area removed on Wednesday. This seems to have lifted her spirits. In conversation with various medical personnel, we gather that she may have as much as 3 to 6 months, but, if she does not rebound some from her surgery, the end could come much sooner.

We have been extremely grateful for all the outpouring of support and prayers through this ordeal. We have never felt so loved before. It has been a most moving and humbling experience. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and thank God for such family and friends.

She enjoys visitors, but, since she tires so easily, the amount of time she can spend visiting right now is pretty limited. She requires monitoring 24/7 at this point. So we tend to put visitors to work as sitters so that yours truly can get some of the outside errands done.

Shalom,Larry
